We must admit that the range of pizzerias in Tossa de Mar is not bad at all. So if you are a pizza lover, here is an Italian restaurant that will win you over.
Although TATARÀ is one of the last pizzerias to arrive in Tossa, it has already become one of the most recommended. Its secret, Neapolitan style pizzas 🇮🇹 with quality ingredients and very good service.
To start with, you'll find a small selection of starters and salads (if you're a big eater, you should order a couple of portions of each, as they're not very abundant). Special mention for the sweetbreads 😋.
After that, let's get down to business; the pizzas are simply delicious. Thin dough and quality ingredients.
You will also find a variety of puccia, that trendy Italian sandwich, with a circular shape and original from the Italian provinces of Salento and Taranto. You can choose between Prochetta, ham, bacon and of course a veggie option.
As for desserts, not much on offer but very well executed. Tiramisu, pistachio cannolo (amazing) and Babà, that spongy and exquisite sweet typical of Naples.
In short, one of the Italian restaurants in Tossa de Mar that you should take into account. Keep in mind that if you go in high season it is advisable to book, as the place is quite small although it has an outdoor terrace. You also have the option of take away if you prefer to eat your pizza at home.
